Rebecca Doppelt, MFTiClinical Associate
Rebecca Doppelt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist specializing in trauma, anxiety and relationships. When conducting therapy, Rebecca strives to create a safe and respectful environment for individuals of all backgrounds and perspectives. She aids each person in identifying and building their strengths to increase a sense of empowerment. Clients set the pace for collaborative work to boost self-esteem and achieve their goals. She assists clients in processing their traumas, large and small, in order to feel relief from emotional pain and begin healing. Rebecca works frequently with betrayal, abandonment, abuse and neglect survivors as well as the pressures of everyday life. Additionally, she is driven to support new and prospective parents in working through their own traumas with the goal of being exceptional parents to their children. Rebecca previously worked in the entertainment industry for over a decade and this experience allows her to bring a unique insider perspective to working with clients in “the biz”.
She began her career in 2015 as an associate working community mental health at the Southern California Counseling Center. While there she conducted intakes, facilitated groups, provided crisis intervention and saw clients of all ages and backgrounds. In 2016, she completed her Master’s Degree at Antioch University Los Angeles in the Trauma Specialization. She completed EMDR training through the Parnell Institute and training in the Community and Trauma Resiliency Models (CRM and TRM) through the Trauma Resource Institute. She has experience in Psychological First Aid and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Rebecca became licensed as an MFT in 2018. She continues to study multicultural considerations in therapy as well as various approaches to treating trauma.
